Questions & aftercare
Everything clients usually ask before their first appointment, plus how to look after your treatment while it settles.
Aftercare
Looking after your treatment
Semi-permanent make up
- Keep the area dry for the first 7 days — no swimming, saunas, steam or heavy sweating.
- Blot gently with a clean tissue for the first few hours if any lymph appears.
- Apply the aftercare balm sparingly, using a cotton bud, as directed.
- Do not pick or scratch as the area flakes — let it come away naturally.
- No make up, sunbeds or facials over the area until fully healed.
- Colour will look dark and bold at first, soften around day 5–10, then return over weeks 3–4.
Plasma pen
- Keep the crusts dry and clean; they will fall away on their own within 5–10 days.
- Avoid make up over the treated area until the crusts have gone.
- Use SPF 50 on the area for at least 12 weeks afterwards.
- Do not pick — picking is the main cause of marking.
Facials
- Avoid heavy make up for the rest of the day so the skin can settle.
- Skip retinol, acids and exfoliants for 48 hours.
- Drink plenty of water and wear SPF daily.
